Hi,
The pattern I used is actually just the image on the page (above), each pixel square is the stitch. Open the image in Paint and enlarge it, you can save the enlarged squares to print (print screen is handy if it won't save at that magnification) - I just had the image on my iPad and used it from there.
In Paint, or any other imaging software you should be able to get it to find the middle for you too.
I also don't have a colour chart, I just used colours I liked! I hand dyed the aida so it was a weird grey/blue shade so I picked something that worked.
The only colour I can remember is I did the 'police box' writing and inside of the light using glow in the dark thread.
